Users can easily select a patient from their worklist and acquire as much content as needed. All files are saved in full resolution within the Synapse VNA system, with a link automatically transmitted to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) associated with the specific patient encounter, facilitating easy access and comparison of previous records.

If integrated with an EHR mobile application such as Epic’s Haiku/Canto or Cerner’s PowerChart Touch, Connext Mobile can be seamlessly launched from within the app, providing complete patient and user context. Alternatively, users without such integration will see a list of all scheduled patients for the day, streamlining data input and preventing duplication. Patient metadata and encounter details remain securely stored alongside images in the Synapse VNA system, accessible throughout the organization.

Connext Mobile is tailored to support an encounter-based workflow, aligning with current practices in departments where content is routinely captured at the point of care without needing a prior order for image or audio/video capture.
